Below are a short list of interview questions that might be asked by HR or a Hiring Manager, whether you use the Paradigm shifter questions or not. Be Prepared! Have practiced answers to each, preferably written answers.

If our phone interview was discontected right now, what question would you regret not having asked?

Why are you looking again for employment?

Do you always win? Asked as the candidate is leaving and while the candidate and hiring authority are shaking hands goodbye.

I have listened to your story. If you have been as successful as you have said; why are you looking? How can I trust you are the right person for us?

If you were to take over the department, position, what would you expect in the first 90 days? What should I expect in the first 30 from you?

What experiences do you have that have made you successful? Do your other managers or subodinates think you are? Which ones and why? Who can I call to confirm your "story?"

How do I motivate you to accomplish our goals? How do you motivate others and yourself?

How many jobs that you have had in the last 5 years?

Why would you want to work for me?

What makes you happy in a job?

How do you determine near-term and long-term goals?

What would your strategies do you use to capitalize on your skills set?

Describe the type of opportunity that would be most comfortable for you?

How do you relieve the stress of work?

Why did you think your last employer had so much trouble making it?

What opportunities that you have interviewed for recently did you like the best? Why?

What was the biggest mistake you have ever made? Were you able to correct it? How?
